I started taking 2g of Rocephin daily on Tuesday so today was dose number 4 (dx'ed Monday). Yesterday evening, as I was about to get into the shower, I noticed two red spots on my low back/upper buttock.

They were each about 1.5 cm in diameter with a red dot in the center, a lighter pink ring and then a darker red ring at the outer edge. I can't say for sure that it wasn't there before I noticed it.

I had my mom take a picture and I called a frined of the family that is a doctor. She said it sounds like Erythema Multiforme.

I looked that up online and it looks pretty similar to some of those lesions. It looks a little like some of the erythema migrans pictures though too.

Since last night, the spots have gotten lighter and are very light now.

Do you think it's the abx, the keets, or something else?

Could this be the site where I was bitten?

The spots have almost completely gone now. I'm still curious about them.

Anyone have any opinions?

Ikpod,
I can't say too much but want to respond to your message.
Before I was diagnosed I had a series of incidents of getting round, red blotches, in the EXACT SAME LOCATION after getting IM Rocephin (for the "chronic bronchitis" that turned out to be a Lyme symptom). My doctor at the time had never seen anything like it.
