Sorry to hear you are having a hard time finding information. Here are some excellent resources for you to study, with information as to details of treatment.

International Lyme and Assocoated Disease Society
Dr. Joseph J. Burrascano's Treatment Guidelines
An in Vitro Study of the Susceptibility of Mobile and Cystic Forms of Borrelia Burgdorferi to Tinidazole
Treatment Summary
Lyme Disease Association

You may also want to check out the Yahoo group Eurolyme, which may have resources more specific to your area.

As far as to how long it takes to recover? With proper treatment, a long term infection, which it sounds like yours is, may take as long as years to treat. You should see improvement before then, but Borrelia burgdorferi is a very difficult bacteria to treat.

Once you have read some of the info provided, you will see there is no exact answer to your question about what to do next. Treating Lyme is still very experimental as to what will work for any one person. But please keep coming back to ask questions!

Since you are a doctor, you may want to join ILADS, as you would then be able to correspond with the doctors in that organization.

Best wishes to you.

Merhaba to Lymenet Sunseaflower,

You've come to the right place to get lots of good and useful information. As Riversinger said already, the treatment of Lyme can take a loooong time.

I had Lyme probably all my life, I'm treating since October 2003 and I'm still far from being cured. But it is gradually getting better, but slowly. Maybe you will need a lot of patience, like many here.

What you can do is to read as much as you can and become your own expert. You can also learn from the experience of the people here on this board.

It may be hard in the beginning with a foreign language and brain fog at the same time. But it's worth it.

If you are a medical doctor then the idea of joining the ILADS is brillant. You would be at the source of all the latest information and you could help other Lyme sufferers in Turkey.

All the best,

Gabrielle

I had chronic fatigue syndrom and this product helped tremendously so I thought you could use this info.

The company is www.akgnaturals.com and they are located in Los Angeles, CA. However, I heard they have distribution in Germany as well. It does not hurt contact them for info. Another website they have is www.podipatch.com

Every symptoms you described I had the same before and I'm now 80% improvement with their products. Good luck and I wish you success like I have.
