I looked at my throat today and its getting a little weird looking.

My throat looks like its got some little bits of yeast every where but its also really red. and it seems like its creeping up my throat in to my mouth like bright red spiderwebs.

even on the "hangy thing" in the back.
does yeast usually do this?

should I be concerned?

I'm taking diflucan and nystatin but I havent seen much difference yet.

Hey dull..

Can't I call you CHIME? MUCH nicer...

Weird question..

Does only one side of your throat hurt? Or does it hurt? Or do both sides hurt?

Are you thick with spit?

Anytime you see bright red... it means you probably swallowed a bucket of strawberries.

Ok.. maybe not.

The yeast in the throat can irritate it. But I am NOT saying that is why it is red.

It wouldn't hurt to gargle with some warm salt water.. and to have it checked by a doctor if it stays red or gets worse.

COULD be a strep infection.. but possibly not. COULD be a result of yeast die off???

I ain't no doctor.. but if you are concerned.. one should be contacted.

Just to make ME feel better!

NO doctor here, either, but if the Nystatin is in pill form, it won't help yeast in the throat.

Perhaps you could try dumping acidolphilus into some water and gargling it?

or maybe it's an infection of another sort?

Yeah it really doesnt hurt too much.

Seems that its yeast though. Strep seems to be a possibility but it would probably hurt.

Its just kinda dry and feels "hairy?" sounds weird I know.

I'll try the acidophilis and see what happens.

Me too, thanks. The Candida road ahead seems like it'll be a long one.

Back to living one day at a time.
