There are 2 meds often used.

Diflucan is an oral antifungal that acts systemically.

Nystatin is an oral a. f. that is thought to stay in the gut.

To I have Lyme etc:

One symptom I get is always having to urinate. I also feel extremely tired, but that is hard to differentiate between yeast and lyme. often my tongue turns white(thrush).

I am fortunate enough to have a science background and microscope and can see the yeast in the urine and the blood. A simple urine test run by a hospital lab might pick up yeast.

There is a test called a "live blood cell analysis" test that not many doctors know about. They prick your finger and look at the blood under a microscope while projecting the picture on the t.v. so you can see. I saw yeast this way. I also so the white blood cells doing their job, saw that my red blood cells were right on top of each other, meaning I need a blood thinner. It's a neat test!

Hope you don't have yeast. I can't seem to get rid of mine. Hiker

My chiropractor performed the test, but my LLMD does it also(at twice the cost).
