During my 2 year of trying to find a diagnosis and even today, I always tested normal for my blood work. Namely, Cbc, uric, esr, crp, ana, rf, ck, t3, tsh, kidney, liver etc. My only exception was high billruben and h pylori that have both since come back to normal
Is this common? My thought was that with all of these bugs ( lyme and co-infections) that some of the blood work would have gone abnormal. Can anyone shed their experience or know why it is fact normal. Does normal blood work signify anything for me?
I do plan to ask my LLMD on this question on my next appointment

I thought once you have H. Pylori, it would test positive in the blood for life. This is because the test looks, not for the bug but for the antibody, and once the antibody is produced, it remains forever. Therefore, bloodtest is only good the first time. After that, they can do biopsy or breath test.
As for the rest, I know many will say the bug is not running around in the blood but in your tissues. Still, it seems if your doctor is treating, then something should start showing up in your blood.
One ILADS LLMD I sought out, gave me Flagyl and Ketek to try to kill some of the bacteria and then run a urine test to catch the dead bacteria.
Can your doctor try that?
