Yesterday I had a CT scan for abdominal pain and it was noted on the report I have several low density nonenhancing lesions scattered throughout the liver consistent with liver cysts.

Of course the report says this is not a problem but I wonder. Does anyone know what this means? I have been getting alot of brown spots which people refer to as liver spots.

The pain is getting better thank goodness although my doc wants me to follow up with a GI specialist.

A google search sounds appropriate.

Lou,

Sorry don't know much about blood work but the only workup done was a CBC, Chemistry panel and UA.

Is Liver enzymes a seperate test? My doc gave me copies of all my bloodwork today.

Liver enzymes look normal according to bloodwork. Mabe I even need to worry about these cysts.

Due to the abdominal pain I've been experiencing I wonder.

Abdominal pain is a side effect of some meds. I had it develop after extended mepron treatment.

Look at your meds and see what the side effects are. If not detailed enough with the pharmacy sheet, google them.

This is just one possibility to consider.

Sorry, I don't know a thing about liver cysts. I do know that lyme can affect organs (as can some coinfections).
