My dr suggested I try this, but only if I can get it compounded without all the sugar. I've been calling around, but the cost is outrageous.
For those who get it compounded w/o sugar, have you found a place who can do it for less money thats willing to ship?
And, for those who take the regular kind (not aspartame), do you know the amount & kind of sugar thats in it? I think the pharmacist is gonna kill me if i call back with more questions but dont order it!

Hi sweetheart! Nice to see ya again. If I had my stuff here, I would go and look for you...sorry.
Hope you are doing well? I think Questran really helped me awhile ago, hope it does the same for you!
Much love, Melanie

Yes, my MD mentined that he has it made without sugar and with Magnesium, to help with the constipation. He didn't mentioned where but has ordered me compounded formulas from this drug store. They ship and they're in MA. Don't know about the cost for CSM but they charged me $5 to ship my last Rx.

I think the reason I couldn't tolerate that stuff was the sugar in it. Either that, or it was because it affected my gall bladder. I ended up in terrible pain.
It did clear some toxins for me at first, but I only lasted a month or so on it.
I checked into the sugar-free also and found the price was outrageous. I hope you find a place where it's cheaper!

I get the sugar free from The Compounding Pharmacist in West Chester, Pa. 866-692-8770. It is expensive, but my insurance reimburses me. They do ship.
It has helped a lot with pain issues. Hope you find a way to be able to do it.

Trout, nutrasweet causes all kinds of neurological problems. Seems like if you can't do the compounded, the one with sugar might be a better choice. Not optimum, but aspartame is pretty bad!

The one with Nutrasweet has sugar in IT too??
Maybe that's part of your troubles, Trout.

hey guys, thanks for the replies. All your experiences and suggestions are very helpful. Tomorrow I'll contact those other places, but it seems like it'll probably be really expensive everywhere.
I'm not sure if I should try the sugar one or forget it. I really want to try it, but I'm pretty sensitive to most sugars and I react to fructose. But it seems like it's really helped some of you, so maybe the sugar version could be better than nothing....or maybe not. Ok, I'm debating with myself LOL time for bed
Melanie - nice to see you too!!! CA?? wow! I'll email you when I'm more alert!
