How is a yeast infection treated? I don't know if I have one but I do have more frequent urination and my head feels a little woozy at times.

Would I have to go off current abx and go on a different abx to get rid of the yeast? Can it be treated by just tightening up my diet and increasing the acidophilus. I am pretty good about avoiding bread/wheat/flour but not so good about avoiding sugar.

Hi-

Sorry you have yeast brewing. If you are on abx it is more likely than not.

I have controlled yeast fairly effectively by eating a low sugar/carb diet, keeping my ph more alkiline and periodically using oil of oregano for yeast management.

You can do those things today. Also, drinking cranberry juice is good for bladder issues. If you can get some without added sugar that is best. I can't get it locally so I get plain cranberry with the least amount of sugar added. Other added fruit juices are sugar.
Add a few drops of lemon juice to your water, up the amount you drink to flush it out the nasties, and change the ph of your body making systemic yeast less likely.

Eating lots of vegtables with your protien and going very easy on the carbs, try whole grains only will also help your ph.

If yeast gets out of control there are prescription products that will help.

Monostat cream is good for yeast on your skin.

I take acidophillus too. Yes, I do increase it when I have eaten too much sugar.
