A few months ago I noticed my left eye started acting weird. And it is not getting better.
What happens is that when I wake up, my eyes are both fine. Then after some time, an hour or so, if I have been reading or using the computer, my left eye just seems to take a break.
In july I had my eyes tested. So I decided to get a new test now. It showed that the previous test was wrong. I ended up getting new glasses, relieved thinking that this would take care of it.
Now, two days after starting using my new glasses, my left eye continues acting weird. In the evenings it is so tired that the eyelid just drops. It also feels like a nerve at the left handside of my left eye is being strained.
I will go back to the optomalogist (sp?) and have another test. But I am a bit worried. Could this be the lyme giving me visual problems!?
Anybody have any suggestions or advice to offer?

EYES/VISION Acuity changes not related to prescription changes Blind spots Blurred vision Conjunctivitis Diminished visual acuity in absence of actual vision change Drooping eyelid Double vision Eye pain Flashes of light perceived peripherally Optic neuritis or atrophy Oscillopsia (image jiggles) Prescription changes more frequently Pressure sensation behind eyes Red and/or tearing eyes Retinal damage Slowed accommodation (switching focus from far to near, near to far) Spots or floaters not related to migraines Swelling around eyes Uveitis and/or iritis Wandering or lazy eye ------------------------------------------- I've been having some trouble with mine as well. I see my doc on Monday to look into it. Floaters have been decreased since I started treatment, but I definitely have a sense of pressure in/behind my eyes. More sensitive to light.
I hope your doc can pinpoint whats going on with you. Sounds a bit frightening. ~~Mo
I just got new glasses too two days ago My eyes were aching...turns out I am farsighted. The glasses have been helping me a lot.
Sorry to hear that your issues still remain.
If your eyelid is droopy be on the lookout for possible Bells Palsy...I don't want to scare you but just something to take note of and maybe check out with your doctor if it starts affecting you more profoundly.
Take care and I hope it stops soon. My opthamologist told me it would take two weeks for my eyes to adjust to my glasses. Maybe it is just going to take a little more time.

Yeah, it is a bit frightening, especially when I don�t know what is just plain "normal bad sight" or illness. I will give it some more time, though.
I�ve only heard about Bells Palsy but don�t know much about it. I will do some research on it so I know just in case...
