Is it a good idea to keep alternating ABXs every few months? I'm thinking it will attack Bb from all angles... any comments?

"Keep em guessing" is the opinion I have formed over several years of ABX on and off. I think to long on anything they will eventually figure out how to get around it or how to protect themselves. Switch it up so they never know from where they are going to be hit.
Hey, they figured out how to avoid our immune systems and there is no better option then our immune systems to fight this thing.

Generally, no. It is not a good idea to keep switching just for the sake of switching. It is usually more about the length of treatment than changing ABX frequently. Where I will say ABX changes are needed though are in fighting coinfections. They work on different bugs and you MUST deal with coinfections. You may also want to change if you are not still seeing some herx or progress, but it certainly should not be the rule to just cycle randomly. At Hope to Heal Lyme, the comment was made that you generally should not even start Doxy, for example, unless you will use for at least 4 months for chronic Lyme.

This is only my opinion as a lyme patient...
I was wondering if they gave a reason for the 4 months of doxy suggestion?

Scott, i am curious about the doxy too. I really do believe it was doxy that made the ketes move to my bladder....and give me the other problems i am dealing with.
I was only able to tolerate doxy for 1 month...it was too harsh for my stomach.
