Im so tired of this, I almost broke down crying in the office today. The pain is too much and she couldnt do the culture.

I had to twist her arm for her to give me 2 more weeks of the niazarol....and now she cut back the dose :-(

My urinalysis came back with blood in the urine.

No culture grown. She looked at me like i had 10 heads when i asked if they could send a tissue sample of my bladder to Igenex.

I have to aske the urologist before the procedure :-(

I mentioned my BM problems which gave me another 10 headed look. :-(

She did give me cipro though, another brand.

I feel like my life is over, one thing after another wrong with me.

Then she pulls out a card for a hypnotist to help me relax during the exam. I asked how will this take away my pain. She said she uses it when she has to fly.

Im so mad...with noway out of this body.

Don't remember -- have you ever been tested or treated for babesia?

Blood in the urine could be a symptom of babesia.

I know how hard it is to deal with reg drs.

Most of them don't believe you are really physically ill...

If your lucky enough to find one who believes chronic lyme exists... then the are really dumb and honestly think that lyme can't make you really sick.... they think of lyme and equate it to easy to treat mild symptoms...

so of course I am either lying or exarating or whatever other thing they feel like labeling me.

been there..

It sucks but I try not to let their ignorance upset me to much because I think the stress, anger and all the other emotions they cause are only going to hurt my health in the end.

I try to let it go.... plus I have a great llmd who does believe me and understands and is helping me sooooooooooooo much.

I guess I have just accepted I have to take the good with the bad.

Best wishes

Its hard to not let it get to me, i will be better in a few hrs.

Azure, we have the same llmd and he is the best :-) thing is i need a gyn to diagnose yeast...and it sux. Plus im supposed to ahve the surgery next wed for IC, but i already got the runaround about the tissue sample......SO, on surgery day if they wont do it, well im outta there for good.

im going to think hard about not going to the gyn for yeast and just dealing with the extreme pain it causes me. I need back on lyme treatment.

sorry to vent.....its just tough at 30 finding out yet another disc in your spine is not getting proper signals :-(

Why do you need a gyn to diagnose yeast? Is it insurance?

When I had very obvious thrush on my tongue I didn't have any that a gyn would discover. Even had mine test for it.

Men get yeast too.

the is vag yeast...my llmd told me to see my gyn.

i was on diflucan for 3 months not getting better...so if i hadnt of gone then i wouldnt have known it was resistant to diflucan
i wish i could do the cultures myself and send them to a lab. Im going to look into it and see if i can find one.

It does suck when you NEED the ducks to do something for you....

then it is really frustrating.

I am assuming you are going to the gyn for yeast because you said it was diflucan resistant....

because i never had to go to the gyn for yeast.

Well I hope they cooperate with you and get you your samples and solve your yeast problem so you can go back on treatment.

Best wishes [group hug]

Can't did they see lesions on your MRI? Is that what led them to the Cauda diagnosis? Any idea what could've caused this?

Have IC meds like Elmeron been tried or ruled out?

i can relate to bad gyn expereinces. I am newly diagnosed, after several years, and taking antibiotics eek--

anyway I felt like i should comment on your cauda equina (hope I spelled it right) It is a cental spinal corrd issue as I understand it. i have a spinal cord problem too (unbelievable). in any event there is a very, very good website/group, just search ASAP, you will find it. I hope i don't freak you out by it because much scarier spinal cord issues are discussed but if you want more info--this would be the place to get it. Super nice group and well set up site.

Have you ever tried buying capsules of probiotics, opening them up and putting them inside there? I've heard of others who have done it.

Hi CGUY-

Putting the probiotics on infected area
will help a Bunch---very safe-

Taking Oil of Oregano is perty
effective--

Yeast is Much Easier to treat
if you tackel it early-

---------------------------------

The first time a doctor looks
at me like Im crazy -

I remind them who is
Paying for there House and leave --

Dont waste time with them --

And like Wish says --
Leave it behind--and move on

The 3 Good doctors that I have had-
I knew they were Good doctors in the
first 5 minutes of the 1st visit--

When you find a doctor who will help
you --you Will know it--I did--

My good doctors listen to what I have
to say -
They talk With me- Not At Me --

Remember -
You are the -
Worlds Best Expert on how You Feel --

Also your first visit should last
around 1 hour or more--

Hard to get a clear picture
in less time--

If the doctor is rushed --
He is Not in a Rush to help you--

The doctor should give you a good
going over(beep the horn kick the tires)

Then talk with you for 45 minutes or so-

For your visit - Be prepaired --
take a complete symptoms list with you-
Make the list Clear and Easy to read-

think about it --
This is the one of the Most Important
papers you will ever write --

So spend some time writing it--

Give all of your symptoms
and also give details like-

only at night-pain moves -
my temp is 93 - night sweats
-Neck pain left side-Joints crack-ect

give dates if known-
give results from meds taken
and amounts ect.

Leave space for notes to be written-

GIVE a Copy to Your Doctor--For Sure--
to read and keep in his records-

This is what I did --
when I found my Good Doctor I
gathered up the best info on these diseases-

Then I Paid my doctor to Read It --

This worked out Very well for me ----

The next visit my doctor was totally
convenced that I have lyme and started
me on treatment right away --AAhhhh

Help your doctor help you
as Much as you can --

Also include web site info-
to help inform the doctor
on futher info- Easily --

With these diseases you have
to take control of your situation--

CGUY--
I used to be sick as Hello- 20 yrs --
Lyme -Babs-

I am feeling Perty Good now --
-- You Will Too --Jay--
