A neighbor son's doctor wouldn't prescribe abx because of him having 2 deer tick but since he has
had a sore throat he gave him probably 10 days amoxycillen for strep throat (without getting lab results
confirming strep!) Besides the fact of how illogical that is my question is this:

Should her son keep taking the abx in case he has contracted lyme?

Will it mess him up more testing wise and health wise to take too little? Should he take what's left
or stop the abx because the dosage is not long enough and prob. not high enough.

Please tell the duck he doesn't look good with a chicken YELLOW stripe down his back!

My suggestion would be to follow Dr. B's guidelines for treatment length and time.. and take the antibiotics till gone... seeking more through this duck or another until the proper dose is obtained.

Obviously the child appeared sick enough to the duck so he would do something.. just not for the right reason.

I hope the little one feels better soon...

I am NOT a doctor.. this is simply my thoughts and opinions.
