You know I have NO brain when it comes to numbers. Need help please. In 2004 there were 891 cases of LD in our state (reported). In 2005 there were 1,235 cases. I need to make the above figures work into this kind of statement shown below... showing the percentage. HELP?? Example- "During 2004, DPH confirmed 382 cases of Lyme disease. the percent increase would be 38.6% which you can round up to 39% My partner teaches statistics -- she is the BRAIN. the formula is new minus old divided by old so 1235 minus 891 equals 344 344 divided by 891 is .386 = 38.6% which is rounded to 39% so you can use this formula in the future. Math is sexy.
