Hi Gigi - this questions was asked in a thread about pelvic pain. Do you have an answer -thanks! "How does one clean out the blocked lymph nodes in the groin area? I have this quite often.
I am aware of general toxin removal techniques, but is there anything specific for these?"

If you have pain in that area frequently, and by feeling the area, you can actually feel the swollen lymph glands.
My guess is that you are probably congested in the lower area which medication/remedies really does not remove fully.
There are licensed lymph drainage therapists; the Vodder technique is excellent. Ask at any naturopoath clinic or alternative group. If I had to do it over again, I would also get some colonics to relieve the congestion. All these systems are working together.
Any time, things do not readily flow, the system is probably overburdened. You might think of www.drnatura.com which is the best I have ever seen. It is so easy to do and I am truly sorry that we did not know about this particular cleanse while we were still ill. Every aspect of your body processes will benefit.
Until you find someone for the lymphatic drainage, try the most gentle brushing, barely touching the skin starting at your feet toward groin and up toward sternum. Same gentle brushing from top of head along side of ears, neck, down to sternum; side and underarms toward the sternum. The exit for the lymphatics is in that area; middle of chest. Maybe find a picture of the lymphatics of the human body. It is a huge fine network that is right below the skin, all over the body. No deep massage, etc.
I had the same pains as you describe. Knife happy doctor found benign cysts. Surgery. Pain returned full force afterward. But I lost my ovaries. Do a lot of checking before you let anyone talk you into that. Lymphomyosot is a drainage remedy that most alternative doctors are familiar with.
The KMT 24 is a wonderful tool to help drain lymphatics also. That was always one of my major tools to help myself. You might do a search here if you are not familiar with this microcurrent device.
Hope this helps some.
Take care.
Be sure to ask your doctor before acting on anything I post.

Gigi, Wow Thanks for the wealth of info! I am sorry you had to go through that but your experience really helps me. I did not even think to feel in that area but sure enough, I can feel the swollen lymph nodes. My LLMD had suggested lymph drainage massage previously. Time to find one. Thanks a million! Julie

Julie,
Do a double check when you find a massage therapist and make sure they are certified in lymphatic massage. I went to one who advertised as doing lymphatic massage, but she was not certified and was not doing it correctly.
I concur with Gigi that DrNatura is a great colon cleanser. Hiker

I am just finishing the DrNatura Colonix cleanse at GiGi's urging and I found it useful as well. Definitely recommend it for anyone that has chronic illness and needs a good detox.

Not to be contrary, but I started the Drnatura cleanse about two weeks ago. My acupuncturist had tried to discourage me from doing it so soon (she felt it would be too overtaxing), but I pushed ahead with it anyway.
Almost immediately, I started to feel drained and weak. After 10 days, I was so physically and emotionally depleted I could barely function. I decided on my own to stop the cleanse.
Within two days, I felt much better. In my case (after a year of abx), I just don't think I was strong enough yet to do that. I'm glad others have had a more positive experience.
Please know this has nothing to do wtih this specific product; in fact, once I am feeling better, I'll probably try the drnatura cleanse again. For now, though, I'm going to keep my treatment simple. My acupuncturist has given me a tea that helps attack any parasites and has a gentle cleansing action. That's working a lot better for me.
Just my own experience!

Fair comments. As with anything, we all have to listen to our bodies, know what we can tolerate, and adapt our programs to our unique situation.
Just about anything may be difficult for some of us to tolerate. I believe the cleanse is a good one but it is important to listen to your body.

I think this is the best of lymenet......examples of how we all vary in our responses to things we try to do to help the body, whether abx, supp's, herbs, protocols.
And as we try different things, we now have the warning signs, should our response not be as we had hoped, and so can step back and analyze our current health position.
Thank you, Northstar
