I read somewhere of this and of course cannot locate it now. Is it true that sometimes for treatment they will remove a buildup of the cerebrospinal fluid?
and if so is it effective?
thank you, Kristin

"Therapeutic lumbar puncture" may be what you are thinking.
It helped my 24/7 monster headache enormously.
(Although for several days immediately afterward it hurt brutally.)
Then magically, my head was better than ever.
I joked with my neurologist, "You oughta do that regularly, ha ha." ...Not realizing that people actually DO sometimes do that regularly.
I did not know at the time that I had babesia WA-1 in addition to lyme, which ultimately proved to be the cause of most of my head pain.
It's a pretty invasive and nasty procedure; I'd be trying everything else first... Diamox relieves intercranial pressure for some -- have you tried that?
