It said most drs [gave percentages] do get free meals and evenings dinners from the drug reps. [I think they get more than that at the dinners....prizes and such.]
Some drs [like 26%] choose not to allow drug reps in their offices.

No, but you're right! It just occurred to me that they are sort of "testing" the drugs on the poor, because the drs give those who cannot afford drugs the NEW stuff.
So the poor are basically the "testing ground."
They said that it was good business to offer the drugs for free if they would in turn receive "lifetime" usage of those drugs by the new patients.
[now in that case, it wouldn't be the poor buying the drugs in many cases]
