I've been on Mepron, Zith and art now for a little over three months. The last few days, I've been having horrid vision issues.
Mostly it's either severe double vision or else things getting darker and darker until I just can't see. I was having these issues before my diagnosis and it comes and goes.
My question is that I had been on bart treatment before this and don't recall as many problems with the eyes. So would this be more likely to be a babs herx or bart coming back?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. As with all these crazy symptoms, I know I just have to wait this one out, but for now, I'm struggling just seeing and reading here. Thanks to anyone with information on this.

I just pulled these up:
Batonella symptoms -EYES: Conjunctivitis, Bartonella Neuroretinitis, Loss of Vision, Flame Shaped Hemorrhages, Branch Retinal Artery Occlusion with Vision Loss, Cotton Wool Exudates, Parinaud's Oculoglandular Syndrome, and Papilledema.
I understand from my LLMD that Azithromycin has been shown to have some activity against Lyme. Personally, the way you describe it, I would suspect a Bart relapse, too.
I tested negative for Bart, so I don't know if Bart works like Babs, but I can judge my Babesial relapses by the return of Sx that had faded with Babs Tx.
Now that I think of it, I seem to recall having had something like that happen with my vision. Don't ask me what I was Txing at the time. Sorry.
If it seems to be getting worse or more frequent after Txing for a few months, I would think a call to LLMD is in order.
Good luck. I hope maybe someone else can give you less scrambled insight.
