A new Lyme and Tick-borne Disease Evaluation Service has opened at the Columbia University Medical Center.

With Dr. Fallon as director and Dr. Kathy Corbera as associate director, the service is aimed at providing an opportunity for patients to receive a comprehensive evaluation for symptoms suspected or known to be related to Chronic Lyme Disease.

Also active in this Service will be Dr. Carolyn Britton of the Department of Neurology and Dr. Ted Dwyer of the Department of Medicine (Rheumatology).

Patients interested in learning more about this Service should contact Dr. Corbera at 212-543-6508.

Wake up their Cavey!!!

It was posted 04 september 2007 dear.

This is the new place...ya know, the one that, kinda just opened up this year.

So Ann, when did this place open up for patients?

It had to be earlier this year, because, some people around here have said, they have already been there for evaluation and treatment!

All the dates mentioned in the link are 2005 or earlier. It appears to be old info.

I was a bit confused as well. Someone sent this to me as though it were brand new. I should have looked at the website before sending it on.

I was confused because I knew a couple of people who had gone through that evaluation as long ago as a year and then this spring.

BTW, one loved it, and one hated it.

I do wish Dr. Fallon - and all who work with him-well.

Sorry for my mistake!
