Hello, I am new to this site. I have had Lyme for 5 years, was treated for 5 months. Since then symptoms never really went away, High liver enzymes are problem along with sever weight gain and high 1 25 hydroxy D and cortisol levels as well. This passed March tested positive for Babesiosis. Have been treated with Mepron and zitho since then, many symptoms still persist while some have gone. Question, does anyone think my Lyme is still causing problems because the co-infection was not detected and treated first? Also Dr. May want to put in PICC line in a week or so. Has anyone been treated with IV for Lyme along with Babesia and got better? Thanks for any input. Blessings, Laura

Just wanted to say Welcome [hi]

Lyme and babs symptoms can overlap so it can be difficult to know what is coming from what.

I've been on IV rocephin for lyme for about 7 months-just started treatment for babs two months ago.
I am always so encouraged by California's words of recovery.
