I have. It's just one of the herbs I used. In my experience, it's not a herb that is useful for long.
I guess people with arthritis have some success with it. My arthritis went out fast with Buhner's herbs core protocol, so that's maybe a reason why I didn't need teasel for long.
there are two types of tincture, one from fresh, one from dried herb. The one from fresh herb is better in my experience.

I have used a Teasel Root extract called SpiroNIL from PRL "Blessings in a Bottle" for about four months, along with many other treatments. Teasel Root has worked quite well for me.

I have used Teasel root tincture, (Dipsacus sylvestris), 50% alcohol, for a year, and it is one of my favorite herbals. It always makes me feel better, and never makes me feel bad -- so no herx, i think. I take 3 antibiotics, some Buhner herbals, other anti-lyme herbals, and many supplements, and i take the Teasel last to end on a pleasant note of relief.
The above sources use fresh Teasel. I think Avena Botanicals may be using dried Teasel--- the extract looks browner.
I take 1/4 or 1/2 tsp, one or 2 times a day. That's a higher dose than most people take. Some people take just a few drops.

I have a lyme friend who doesn't have much access to the internet. She wants to know how much teasel to take.
She said the bottle says 3 drops 3 times a day.
Is this the maximum??

This has been so long ago. I took Spironil. And I went up to a dropper full a couple of times a day. I would not start that way - but gradually increase it.
I have no idea what exactly it caused - other than eventually I got totally well. But I took many other remedies over time, not all at once, and did many types of therapies. All added together - and only when tested well with ART.
Take care.
