i got to thinking. some people say salt causes a lyme herx or something like that.
so if you eat a high salt diet, will it effect (or affect, whatever) the lyme? would it cause a herx?

I know many here are iodine deficient.
Salt also helps symptoms of POTS.
I don't know about herxing. If this were true, I'd herx after every meal.

Salt makes the body retain water. Thus if you are herxing it will last longer because one of the main ways of detoxing is by body fluids either urine or sweat etc.

I have done real well on the salt and C protocol.
Yes I had herxes right on schedule with the plan.
I have been on it for over ayear and now for the past 3 months at 12 grams of sodium and C per day.
I take sea salt. Unprocess REAL SALT from Utah
Processed salt is very bad for the body it forms acid. It should be avoided in all foods.
Herxing will make you acidic and processed salt will make you more acidic.
