My husband was on combos of mino/biaxin/plaquenil and roxy/bactrim/plaquenil for 26 weeks. He has been off of everything for a little break for a week and a half.

While on these combos he had some pretty intense herxheimers with great pain in his hip one time then his lower back. Since he has been off the abx my husband now has intense pain in his neck/shoulder. All of these are on the right side.

Before this he has always felt better when on abx breaks. My question is could it be possible that this severe neck pain is just a continuation herx from the plaq combo built up over 26 weeks? I know plaq has a very long half-life and am speculating that it could still be working.
