I found this interesting article in "Scientific American Mind" that mentions lyme disease by name as one of the infectious agents, specifically linked to schizophrenia and autism whereas mycoplasma was linked to OCD.
This study focuses on placenta/fetus acquiring a mental illness due to the mother having been infected with flu or something at a certain and specific point in her pregnancy.
I think the actual article has a chart that this online one does not.
Interesting. And also, in my opinion, a valid and reasonable suggestion that it is possible that the lyme might be or become an immune problem at some point even despite or in combination with its infectious aspect.

research goes into selling colourful magazine articles rather than helping people.
i guess i'll stick to surfing internet boards, keeping quiet, and being part the similar scheme of buying elaborately branded placebo after elaborately branded placebo, while anyone who has any answers has given up, or is hidden, drowned out -- or apathetic.
at the end of the day, i've just been a route to siphon money from one source to another. whether it's from my dad's pocket or the province or taxpayers' -- and then to whatever enterprise.
