You know those huge plastic things they put you in where your head sticks out of the top and they wrap a towel around your neck? I think they're steam saunas or something. What do you call those thingies??
Can you tell I'm having a really good lyme day? My brain is just mush, pure mush...
Well anyway are they good for lyme? Do they help detox? Are they worth the treatment costs of 45 bucks each? That's what one health center here is charging...

I don't know if this is the type of steam sauna you're talking about, but you can buy one of those plastic ones at this website for only $250.00, so no, I don't think $45/treatment is a good deal when you can own one for a litle over 5 treatments.
The cabinet you want to look at is the one that is the portable comfort steam sauna.
I bought one from promolife about 3 years ago and used it a number of times with an ozone generator to give myself ozone treatments. After I started getting better (on antibiotics) I stopped using it. It has solid inserts to keep the sides up rather than air. Some sold on Ebay use air in the sides and may explode if they get hot, I'm told.
There was another poster(Orion) who used it a lot for her and her daughter w/ozone generators, and she felt it really helped a lot.
To be honest, it's hard for me to say how much it helped me, but I think it's at least good for detoxing and helping your muscles relax. In fact, even though I'm much better now, I was thinking about doing it again, just to help loosen up my muscles.
Hope this helps.

I think they are called russian eggs.
Ive had luck with dry saunas and massage while sweating.
The steam really doesnt heat the body as much as you might think.
