dr w's office called. can you believe it was HIM? the doctor himself!! he asked about my history and when i told him i had the em rash and that other doctor was very expensive and did a ton of tests. He didn't say a word just that "a lot of testing is unnecessary when you have a positive em rash."
he asked about my treatments and i told him and he said "well basically the infec doc did nothing cause 1000 of amoxy is useless and that's just a blackhole anyway so you've been untreated since 2005."
I told him about my mom and he said I may have had this my ENTIRE life as my mom had it and stress or whatever and being bit again triggered it.
I have to write a personal history, bring all my testing and read some book by singleton.

Oh praise the Lord, Randibear!!!! I am THRILLED for you!
I am encouraged now, that perhaps he won't blow ME off. I need to call, huh? lol
You sound kinda like me... I had an attached tick with rash in 2003, BUT after having read up on Lyme, I suspect I have had it at least since 1990, and quite possibly since birth.
I think the tick in '03 just sped things up... a lot. =(

That is soooo excellent! Sounds like you are in the right hands!
How did you find this Dr W? How did you get their contact details?
I really need a Dr in the US to talk to my doctors here in Oz. Your case sounds like mine.
Go fight em! Bella xoxo
P.S. 16th June is my birthday, so it must be a lucky day for you!
