I was curious if anyone has taken levaquin for Bart and if so how should it be taken. From what I get it is usually taken once a day at 250 or 500mg. Does anyone have anymore information on this subject.

My husband is 200 lbs and takes 500 mg once per day. We find that if he takes it in the morning, he doesn't have the insomnia as much as if he takes it later in the day.

Yea, i have been to docs that have given me a medication and then I guess they forgot. Because, later they gave me something else that interacts with the current medication. Luckily I checked. You have to watch them sometimes.
randibear, well im glad someone on this board could help you. Im glad I found this forum myself.
I guess maybe ill start with the leviquin at 250mg 1 a day. Can I mix this with doxy? I checked for interactions and found none. Maybe I will have to post that question in a new thread.

Well, if you take leva and mino together then I should have no problem with leva and doxy. Cool thanks.

Can't imagine why any doctor in their right mind would have you on both levaquin and cipro at the same time. Either you are mistaken, or the doctor that told you to take both has no medical sense at all.
