As I understand it, the herbs and the ions that are in these footbaths and the foot strips you stick on the bottom of your feet turn brown after they are exposed to air and moisture whether your feet are in it or not!

I am pretty sure it's "hoaxy" copy and paste this link:

http://spaindex.com/Articles/IonicScam.htm

and decide for yourself. scroll down and read the entire page.

Have a nice day [Smile]

Some LLMDs think they are a good way to detox.

It is not a hoax. The color of the water has nothing to do with the benefits. The devices improve your kidney and liver ability to detox for several days afterwards. There is plenty of data to support the benefits. I do it weekly or more if time permits.

I love mine and use it every 2 or 3 days. The brand you use or buy is important. I bought the G-Tech. There's another good brand too but I don't remember the name of it.

When my husband uses it, his water doesn't look bad at all. When I do it, you can definitely tell I have a lot of issues. For me, gall bladder always comes up.

It's just one more way to help detox the body.
