so many didn't get to speak last night-and i had questions for others that didn't get answered...maybe we can finish the "meeting" here.

do you think there are enough teens who would like their own thread?

check in, all... winter's coming and i may not make all the meetings. i don't want to lose touch.

I can't take the oral anitbiotics; even after a single dose. I want to treat it, but my neuro and gnawing stomach symptoms are exacerbated. Does anyone have any ideas??

hi katie-did you mean to post here? were you at the manchester group wed night?

if you posted by mistake you probably should start your own post with something like "what to do when abx make symptoms worse" in the title

it looks like you are new and maybe haven't figured out the site yet

what you are describing is common.

1. your increase in neuro symptoms is called a herx and means the abx are working

2. your gi problems are common also-there are ways to deal with that-

i just don't think you will get much help on this thread with your problems

if you want me to start a thread with a better title for you, let me know here and i will

also-you can do searches. at the top left of the page you will see the word search in small print. click on that and searc "herx" or "gi problems with abx

good luck. let me know if you need more help. there is an awful lot to learn about lyme, but you have come to the right place.
