I'm embarassed to post this. But I just can't afford 500.00 for antibiotics with all the other costs of medications, etc...

I'm desperate as symptoms keep getting scarier and scarier. I can hardly get out of bed now.

When you say 500.00 what is that for?

many antibiotics can be very cheap i.e generic Bicillin can be as little as 4 Euro's per shot so that will be only 8 Euro's a week and other oral meds can be just a few euro's.

I am wondering what is costing you 500.00 and what is that buying you?

Minnie Mouse,

Have you applied for medicaid?

Beyond that, do you eat a diet full of nature's antibiotics? garlic, onion, ginger, fruits, veggies, herbs like tumeric, clove, etc?

Do you supplement with vit D or msm or vit c?
(have your doctor test your D level before supplementing D) better still, get 15 mins of sunshine a day if you live in the sunshine states of America. It is free and you cannot overdose.

Eating this kind of healthy diet will boost your immune system and aid the drugs in killing bacteria, viruses, etc. It also assist your elimination organs with detoxification.

Eating a bad diet will do nothing to help you heal and will even fuel some bacterias and parasites and inflames your body which exacerbates your symptoms.

I'm sorry I don't know much about how to help you pay for your meds but by making good food choices, you will start to feel better. It may take awhile for you to see the difference and depending upon how toxic you are, you might initially feel worse as your body begins to expel some of those toxins.

But a healthy diet is the highway to healing.

Susan,
Thanks for the input, however I eat very healthy. As much organic as possible. Lots of water. I take lots of great supplements to aid my immune system.

I take very good vitamins. I even get vitamin iv's 2=4 times a month. Don't feel like going into it, but I have a great doctor. I also do ubv, hyperbaric chamber and other natural methods that I rely upon though not as often as I was able to do them.

I was doing all the above once to twice a week and still became sicker. My cd 57 has dropped down to 32 despite all the above.

My detox system is a problem as killing the bugs makes things impossible physically and emotionally if I go in for my treatments more than 2-4 times a month.

Not to mention the stimulation gets the jerking, speaking problems and possible uncontrollable yelling activated.

You are probably wondering how I can do the above and not affford antibiotics, but I totally live by faith and it's a miracle that I have access to what I do.
.
The antibiotics that my doctor wants to put me on are tindamax which there is no generic for, and cleftin.. I thought that

I'd found the generic for cleftin for 4.00, but now I'm having trouble finding out which company it was, and am wondering how I could have gotten that important information wrong. I mean I was excited that i'd found it at this price.

Anyways. I am glad to know there are other antibiotics out there that may work though my doc has conferred with top experts in the country on which anti-biotics are best, and which to pulsate and this is what she was really wanting to start me on...

I look forward to hopefully hearing what others have to say about which antibiotics may work for me at a cheaper price.

can't proofread, nor say anything else. Brain is done, hope this makes sense.

Sorry you are not well, MinnieMouse.

Try contacting your local chain pharmacies or visiting their websites for their drug discount programs. As others mentioned, Walmart, Target, and many food stores w/pharmacies have these programs.

Here is a link to a centralized database that can help you with this search:

Prescription Assistance

If you web search the name of the drug, you should be able to find the manufacturer. Try looking for patient assistance on the company's site. Many of the drug companies have programs to help people who are uninsured or short on funds.

Best Wishes on your search.
