I was on bactrim/zith for about 9 months, now I take bactrim/zith/cumanda for 4 days, then malarone/zith/cumanda for 3 days-then repeat over and over...lol.
I never got a fever before-was on this combo for about 3 months when I was becoming symptom free-helped me "turn the corner".
Now, after months of feeling good-I'm feelimg bad again!

I don't have a clear answer for you, but I just had the same thing happen!
My kids and hubby and I were all sick 6 weeks ago with body aches, weakness, fever and stomach issues/vomiting.
Just last weekend, it started over again for me and my son.
I think it is viral. However, I think it also kicked up a herx for me by requiring more from my tired immune system! I stayed sick longer than everyone else and got the neuro-herx with depression too.
Not fun. Some how I just want it to be a flu so that Lyme doesn't scare me so much. Fact is: flu or Lyme feels equally lousy!
Hang in there -- it mutates and evolves and dissolves eventually,

I have a wicked cold now, plus cough, so I guess it was the stomach bug, not the lymebug
