Ok, this is totally new for me. Ive been treating Lyme for almost 2 years now with a variety of abx

and herbs. I'm off abx right now to give my digestive system a chance to heal and I'm on very

few herbs. 2 days ago I woke up with an awful flu. High fever, chills/cold sweats, throwing up, severe aches etc.

Yesterday I felt drained but better. Then last night I started itching like crazy and broke out in hives...I think.

I've never had hives but they itch like crazy and I have raised red bumps that run together, especially

in areas that rub on clothing.

I've really been working on getting my immune system up and running. Do you think it's overly agitated?

Could this be a reaction to a virus? Anyone ever have this? Help???

I have had hives every single day since my first manifestation of Lyme-like symptoms in Sept. 06. Started with sore throat, fever, aches, as well as swollen knees and hives. The hives never went away, unfortunately.

I actually had the priviledge of talking to Dr. B. at a recent conference and he said the hives are your body's immune reaction to the Lyme inside of your body. He said his son had this reaction and it cleared up when he received adequate treatment.

I hope your hives clear up! They are a real b****. My advice in the meantime, take Benadryl to help you sleep at night, OTC Zyrtec during the day.

Good luck and PM me if you want to talk more. I have the utmost sympathy for people with hives - the hives are probably one of my worst symptoms!
