Hi Folks,
I could'nt find any recent remarks about heparin poisoning or mention of bad batches so I
posted this because a whole lot of us may have been using a
bad batch,
when we might have been infusing our IV antibiotics in the past.
Recently, down here in Florida. One of those lawyer commercials about a possible
"heparin poisoning",
has occurred durring the months and years of June 2006 and I believe Aug., 2008,
due to a bad batch of the blood thinner.
A lawsuit is in the works concerning the above.
So, if anyone out there has ever had IV heparin, for flushing out the lines of our picc-lines, or has been bed ridden or hospitalized
and or
underwent surgery durring the lawsuit dates mentioned above.
Add to that the fact that you may have had some REALLY BAD REACTIONS to heparin.
The bad reactions may very well have been heparin poisoning.
PM me for contact of lawyers handling lawsuit for firm's name and or phone number.
A number of symptoms are declared as valid.
sudden death,
of course is one which I don't believe the receipient could collect.
Perhaps, however, whoever the poor schmuck was, who got the bad batch of heparin,
between,
June of 06 and if I remember correctly August of 2008.
Im sure his or her relatives might be interested in this lawsuit!?
When I get a good list of the symptoms this bad batch would deliver, some are the same as our
illnesses however there are one or two that are symptomatic of heparin poisoning alone.
I will post the list as soon as I can quickly cop them down whenever I see the commercial.
Sincerely and drastically dramatic because a lot of us depend on heparin,
in particular, due to our hypercoagulated blood!

Very interested to know about this. My daughter had a port put in for IV therapy in December, 2006.
She had extreme unexplainable pain from it and the home health nurse saw pus when she was changing the needle and dressing. The lab cultures came back negative (big surprise), so we tried to continue, but not even a week later, the pain was so bad, it was removed.
We waited a month or so and a new port was put in on the other side. She began having the same extreme pain and could not infuse or draw blood. This time there was a fibrin sheath, but the surgeon said it was not unusual. He was freaked though and took the port out and basically said don't come back.
Each time she had just had the port in for a few weeks and each time the lab cultures were negative for infection. The first time though the nurse saw pus and a surgeon on call saw pus.
Not long after that, the news came out about contaminated heprin. I checked lot numbers that were mentioned, but nothing matched.
I still have some of the heprin that I kept just in case--with lot numbers. I had it left over because we had to stop infusing.
She was really very sick to begin with and the IV fiasco just made things worse. We never understood what happened and did not get much help from the doctors. The llmd was in a different state so it was hard to coordinate everyone. The IV meds and supplies were shipped to us from a company in Florida.

OK Sparrow and anyone else,
Yep Cup! Lotts and LOTTS of lawsuit/attorney commercials...
I've been trying to get a complete list of symptoms but the doggone comercial is too swift
for my lymebrain and poor voluntary/muscle control at the present time....
However it sounds like, a few of the symptoms that are mentioned,
in the commercial,
match what your daughter experienced.
I would never believe, ANY,, doggone hospital lab on any test!
Most everytime, I ever had my fluids of any kind, sent to an,
in-house hospital laboratory...
I, NEVER, got a positive/on ANYTHING, with ANY fluid,
in many different campuses of "medicine"!
Those "labducks", are just not equipped, as well as they would like to be...
kits or no kits! IMHO of course!
You may get more information if you dial this 800 number...
For, Robert Goldwater law firm...
1-800-676-4827...
a person will answer and ask or answer questions for you...
person is intermediate screener for law firm...
Some symptoms mentioned in the commercial, listed below...
Persons who might have been operated on durring the time mentioned above...
or bed ridden...
and may not know for sure, if they were even given heprin!
Kidney dialysis patients,
"MAJOR ORGAN FAILURE"! YIKES!
and even "SUDDEN DEATH" like on operating table!
Catch the drift?
Renal and Heart failure,
Redness of skin,
Nausea,
Increased Sweating,
Severe Headaches,
Low Blood Pressure,
Unusual Rashes,
Abdominal Pain,
Chest Pains,
Trouble Breathing,
This is all I could copy down off the commercial so far..
However like I mentioned above...
I called the above number and talked with a screener,
who gave me some answers to some questions...
Like, from what time to what time...
that's why I'm not sure, about the August(month)of cutoff,
but I am sure of the starting month of June and the years 2006 thru 2008...
If anyone else calls, please correct me!
Heck, Ya know, the symptoms could be any one of us!
Man, Mainstream medicine doesn't make treating our diseases any easier, now does it!?
Well actually the manufacturers of the heprin in question....
