This has been one of my most annoying symptoms for over 3 years and I was wondering if anyone else experiences this.
When I lay down I feel as though my body is continually rocking up and down as though on a water bed.
It also feels like I am laying in a boat that is rocking up and down in waves. Sometimes like on very choppy waves!
It only happens when I lay down either to go to sleep or to rest in the afternoons. Occasionally I will feel as though I am moving up and down when I watch television.
It varies in intensity but has really been bad the past couple of weeks.
I am not on any meds that would cause this.
Any ideas? Thanks

Just another symptom. I don't get it lying down, but I do feel like I am on a boat and moving with the waves at times when I am sitting.
Don't know what causes it.

Yes! I got this terribly on Rifampin and assumed it was a Bartonella herx. But it's come back now that I've begun Babesia treatment. On Rifampin, I would get it even while standing up. Now I get it when laying down.
It's awful. I wish I had some ideas how to deal with it.

Yes. You might want to look it up using the search. It's been discussed many times before. Feels like you're on a boat on the ocean. I had this in the very beginning while herxing on Doxy. And still have it once in a while, but not as often. I could sit very still or lay down and I would feel like I was being rocked back and forth constantly. Very annoying, uncomfortable feeling for sure!

OMG! YES!!! That was one of my first complaints!! That was the only way I could describe it to the dr's. Like I was in a boat and rocking. It is strangely annoying and it comes and goes. I don't get the spinning vertigo, just the boat rockin.

Babesia was the cause of my rocking sensation.
I only experienced it briefly but it was completely annoying.

I am sorry you all have/had this but I am glad to hear I am not the only one!
My doc looked at me kind of funny when I told him about it (not my LLMD). So I never mentioned it again.
I have been treated for Babs but not for a while now so maybe I need to again.
It isn't a spinning or the room moving. It just feels as though my body is rocking up and down and I always try to tell myself I am laying perfectly still but it doesn't work.
Then I try to pretend I am laying on a boat in Hawaii enjoying the beautiful scenery.. Thanks for letting me know I am not alone in this wierd symptom.

Yes I get this too. Don't know what causes it. I get it the worst when sitting though. I feel like my neck and head are moving forward and back. I cna see that I am moving a little in the mirror too.
I also get a yucky moving feeling when I'm walking, like I just got off an elevator feeling. I wish I could help with what makes it go away, but I hope you find relief soon!
