Hey <<<<< Lyme-r Family >>>>>,

When I was about 7 or 8 years old, I got bit/stung by something playing by the backdoor of my Grandparents shop.

We never found out what it was...dad and grandpa checked to see if they could find evidence of a snake or some larger type of insect. We never found out what it was...

Grandma and mom helped me make a paste of baking soda and water. And we iced the bite/sting site as well as using the paste on it.

Whatever it was got me thru a thick pair of knee high socks. I was bitten in the achilles tendon area, right heel.

I was lethargic for a couple days and the area burned, swelled and stung. There were two well formed definite holes in the back of the achilles area bite site [about 1/8th to 1/4th of an inch apart] .

My dad brought it up recently, wondering,if it could have anything to do / the illness and problems I have been thru. I was not taken to the Dr.

If whatever bit me,had fed on soemthing that was TBI type diseased...maybe that was start of the start of my issues??

I am weaker on the right side of my body, rt.leg/ankle/knee and arm/wrist etc...injure very easily. Even the Migraines started rt.side of brain, tho' it was much later...

I know we were exposed to ticks, more than once camping in our childhood...but I wonder about all this...and when the onset might have been for certain...????

Any tho'ts,ideas??? I was also bitten by a Hobo Spider in' 97 [simular to a brown recluse],they put me on antibiotic for awhile after the bite...

But I am wondering...don't know if I'll ever know, what all started this mess... but maybe,i can find even better ways to treat the issues...

{I am on lower dose Buhner Protocol right now,w/ various supplements added in... No LLMD close by so am treating myself at the moment,w/ a friend helping w/ research too...}

***** Editing in w/ a ???... Could waht ever bit me,have introduced some sort of parasite activity, that might not show up in the usual testing?

I'm being persistent w/ questions and tho'ts here, as I have a suspicion this all ties in together some how! *****

Please Pardon typos' rt.wrist/thumb are splinted still [from a recent fall].

Thanks for any tho'ts ideas...????

Somewhere there is the right combo of meds/supplements and whatever else that will unlock this soupy mess...

Just Silverwolfi-Swampthing

Sounds like it had to have been a snake or something pretty similar. If that were it, then I don't think it would have any relation to Lyme exposure... in my humble opinion.

Hang in there!!!

<<<<< Lymetoo >>>>>,

Thanks for the reply!!!

My grandfather always wondered if it was a snake too...tho' they didn't find any evidence.

It was in an area of Oregon, that sometimes,if it gets really warm in summer /fall there have been problems w/ snakes.

I think the mix of so any problems is making it harder to treat.

Will never forget that bite?/sting? tho'...I was convinced that something was still attached when I ran screaming/and-sobbing into Grandmas house,w/the back of my heel/ankle 'on fire'.

Ticks, Hobo spider, snake?? Mold problems, Virus issues, and so on... it makes things difficult to know how/what to treat first.

I'm trying to hang in here tho...!!!

Jus' me again...

Any other tho'ts anyone???

W/the bite or sting being a double hole, perhaps snake or some sort of lizard...???

It would have to be a very large bee/wasp wouldn't it for a double sting fairly equa-distant?

Grandma said they had soem sort of large beetle that could sting?/bite? too. Thank goodness it only happened once to any of us that we know of.

I do remember they gave me some 7-up too as my tummy was nauseated at the time...

There was 6 of us cousins taht used to play there in summer and holidays too!

My wonderings were, if something bit /stung me, after it was feeding on a critter w/ a tick-borne illness... don't know if snakes/lizards would pass that on tho'???

Like as Lymetoo said perhaps not???

It is no wonder we feel foggy-weird-odd many times tho'...w/so many poisons/heavy metals/mold/bacterium/viruses/parasites etc. afflicting our bodies.

Jus Silverwolfi-Swampthing trying to figure it out...

Hi again... 'Persistent Polly Swamp-wolf' here again,

Hi <<<<< Lyme-r family >>>>>,

I hope I don't come across as rude here...keeping on w/my question...er...and on and on...but I am curious!!!!

I'm strongly suspicion that finding out more what may have been happening to me all these years, might hold the key to the right combo of meds,ABX,supplements and so on.

The 'right stuff'...I don't really care if it is 'mud, minerals, machines, magnets,or miracles'..if I can find a not to spendy way to get better... I can get into remission...

Well,I'll get this posted...and get my day going...

Thanx again, too any one w/any tho'ts/ideas who replies!!!

Okay general info' here...

The bite/sting was prolly not a lizard.

There are a couple types of rattlers in the hills above where I got bit,and there are also so poisonous racer type snakes I think?

Upon googling the info...It is said that because of the mass amount of flies and insects snakes eat...there can be a potential problem w/ parasites... don't know how common it is tho'.

And evidently rattlers and other venomous snakes do occasionally dry bite [ meaning no venom insertion.]

The snakes if smaller, can be very hard to see,and they don't always rattle...

Not sure if we'll ever know if I had a snake bite...but it was a painful sting/bite whatever it was.

We didn't get me any medical attention at the time, w/ folks thinking it could be some sort of stinging insect...

Hopefully,no one here has had/or will get snake bitten... but just a tho't, carefully watch the bite, and clean it,get medical attention, even for an unknown[ don't know what bit/stung you] bite/sting.

So perhaps it is possible for a parasite issue to develop...??

And the info' I read said don't ice the bite if there is any chance it is from a snake...seems odd, but then maybe there is damage that may occur from the cold pack ???

I find myself wondering how my sister and I got infected. We were bitten my many insects growing up in SE Michigan. We played in the woods, and lived by the water and were exposed to spiders, mosquitos, etc. Don't remember any ticks and our friends are healthy so we really can't figure this out.

I don't think I will ever know for sure (we are 50 years old now)

As for parasites I never rule anything out!

<<<<< mojo and sister >>>>>,

I can sure understand, many of our childhood friends/cousins are reasonably healthy. And I appreciate your reply,Thank You!!!

I am early 50's, My mom was always tired tho she did so very much for us kids, and in loving fun ways.

Then we found out that she was very ill, she fought a long battle, before we lost her. I've wondered if she/and/or dad. got TBI's and it could be congenital w/me and my siblings...prolly will never know...

But I'm exploring, and educating myself as best I can,to fight the LD and Co' issues...
