My 19 yo old daughter has been treated by a LLMD for over 2 years. She took a break from the iv protocol for a few months and has slowly been adding them back...1 myers a week. On Wed her dr started her back on a MTE 5 push and a HEEL bag. She started feeling chest pressure last night and we can't figure out if it's a reaction/toxins or the start of the flu (one of my other daughters has the flu). Also, she's had asthma since she was a baby, but has not had any problems since she started treatment for lyme (!!). She says it's not the usual vagus nerve feeling. I'm just hoping we don't have to make a hosp trip tonite. Any ideas?

Could be various things. Probably most likely would be something like costochondritis, esophogael spasms/irritation, GERD, hiatal hernia, or even anxiety. Anxiety can cause real physical symptoms as I have found out first hand. I have chest pressure 24x7, and nobody can pinpoint a cause. If it feels serious, go to the hospital, and they can run an X-Ray, EKG, and echocardiogran if needed. I would guess it's some type of inflammation since she is only 19 years old. However, if the feeling persists, you can see a cardiologist and get a 24 hr holter monitor. I have had a 21 day monitor as well. If it's inflammation causing chest pain, it is not likely that an X-Ray EKG, or echo will see the inflammation that causes the chest pressure/pain. If the heart is directly involved, there may be changes on EKG or echo.
By the way I have Lyme and Bartonella and have the terrible chest pressure symptom at 23 yrs old.
