My daughter had a positive pcr lyme test last June, her doctor said alot of people never show a positive pcr and that she definately has lyme with this test, I am wondering will it ever be not positive when she is done with abx, how do you know when lyme is gone?

I agree symptoms.
But that does not mean it can't be reactivated or
reinfected. As is known to happen in its sister
syphilis. Some think it requires a maintainance low
dose like many illness' to keep it in check. I
just spoke with a woman who has suffered for 2
years after her doc told her she was cured after
21 days of doxy. Her chimney caught on fire and
she became bed ridden fast. She had to go North
to her brothers funeral and doc gave her a double
pack of steroids to get her there and over her
aches and pains. We hate this disease, but hate
docs who don't know what they are doing worse.
