I have my 1st LLMD appt. in April. Thank goodness.
During the meantime, I've received test results with a positive Anti-Cardiolipin Ab. In short, Livedo Reticularis. This causes the loose lacey look of arms and legs.
It is said to be an autoimmune disorder. But, I don't recall having it before I got sick.
Has anyone else tested positive for this? Is this also a symptom of Lyme?
Just in case your wondering, I am a confirmed lyme patient.

Livedo racemosa is a possible Lyme symptom:

Classic variants of cutaneous borreliosis are erythema chronicum migrans (ECM), lymphadenosis benigna cutis (LBC) and acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans (ACA). Other dermatoses have been reported in the literature as possibly linked to borreliosis. A 59-year old female patient was seen in the late phases of cutaneous borreliosis with histologically confirmed ACA. In addition, prominent livedo racemosa was seen on the legs, also showing tissue changes similar to those of ACA. Borrelia burgdorferi infection was serologically confirmed by the presence of anti-IgM and anti-IgG antibodies. The clinical spectrum of late cutaneous borreliosis should be enlarged to include livedo racemosa.

Never heard of livedo, but I did have a positive anti-cardiolipin test when I was first dxd with Lyme. It went back to normal with treatment for Lyme.

I have had this situation for years... as have a number of others with chronic Lyme. It came years after the original Lyme diagnosis... and before the ACA chronic Lyme rashes started appearing. It is still pretty constant.
BY the way.... ACA rash indicates CHRONIC active infection... even the ducks say so.
I don't for one minute believe the livedo is an autoimmune problem explained by the standard line that the body is for no reason suddenly attacking itself.
