I explained a week or so ago about how my doctor dropped me. Well I have run out of abx as of this past Thursday.

I have an appt. with a LLMD on Tuesday so I am hoping for more abx.

I apparently was having really bad herx reactions on the antibiotics because the pain has gone down since I stopped taking the doxy.

But now I have symptoms that are new, or maybe new. I use to expereince extremely bad headaches at least a year ago but then the weight loss started. Anyway now I am having the headaches again and now GI issues.

Can new symptoms appear AFTER the antibiotic or is it usually only current symptoms that reappear or get worse. Could this be related or unrelated?

Anything can change after you stop antibiotics- I sometimes get better for a few days, or I sometimes get worse. there are different explanations for these phenomena, too.

you can also get new symptoms any time, either when starting a new drug, or when stopping a drug.

i'm so sorry about your ordeal with the doctor, by the way.

Thank you. I figured that was the case but just wanted to make sure.

Now I can also add shooting pain to that list as well...

I was great, and I mean great the first day off of it, woke up for the first time in months with no pain, so swollen fingers, and then BAM the next day back to normal (for me) with new symptoms!
