Feels like someone rubbed a gallon of bengay on my arms. Its like a cool kind of burning....if that makes sense. I have not had this symptom for a long time. What does it mean that it is back?

I use to have constant burning and tingling, but after a year a half of treatment that started getting better. I haven't had this symptom in months and now out of the blue here it is. What would cause it to return?

I got that with Flagyl pulses. It's some kind of die-off. Good sign!

CD57 I hope you are right. Die off would be great!

TF, I have been on Doxycycline for almost 10 months now. Was on various other antibiotics for a year before that.

I just recently about 8 weeks ago added in high doses of prescription vitamin D, which is an immune modulator and wondered if that was boosting my immune system.

Also, I just had the flu about 2 weeks ago and took Amoxy and Tamiflu for a week and wondered if that played into it somehow. Maybe my immune system kicked in to fight off the flu.

I have also noticed increased brain fog the last couple of days which has been better for the most part for the last few months. So hmmmm.....maybe this is a die off.

I am sort of convinced that the D therapy added to the doxy might help the doxy to do its job better.

I did a little bit of aggressive treatment in the beginning with no improvement; and then my doc decided to try the doxy as a more long term treatment.

Come to think of it exactly 4 weeks ago I had an episode of increased pain. Its either a 4 week flare or hopefully a die off. So hard to tell with LD.

Thanks for responding!
