Ok, I know Igenex is better, it is a Lyme Lab. But what makes it differet? In terms I can understand, lol. I don't want it all in medical terms because I won't get it. But are they more sensitive? Do they have better equipment? What makes them so much better than a mainstream lab that it costs so much to use them?
Sorry for all the questions today. I just woke up very inquisitive this morning

For starters, Igenex tests for 10 IgG and 10 IgM bands on their Western Blot.
Other labs test for 10 IgG bands and only 3 IgM bands. Those labs exclude testing for some very lyme-specific bands.
Igenex includes 2 strains of Borrelia in their testing methods, and I believe the other labs include only one.
