Hi all Can you take the above together? I also take a low dose antidepressant which I will phase out.
I also take targeted amino acids for neurotransmitter support. DL-Phenylanine, L-Tyrosine, L-Tryptophan, GABA, rhodiola rosea.

- I'm thinking that Lithium orotate and sam-E may work well together but I don't have just the right article. If you happen to know a naturopathic doctor, it's a good question for them.
You'd not want to start them together. I'd start at a low dose on one and stick to it for a week. Then, you might add a low dose of the other with lunch on day when you're not planning much - it's good to do that with anything new, anyway.
You can read more about each of these at www.vrp.com - in the search bar, pull down from products to articles for a search. I'll bet you will find the answer there.
From the amino acid list: If you experience any jitters or agitation, you might lower the DL-Phenylanine as it can be too stimulating for some.
Others do fine with it but for anyone with a seizure disorder, it can be too much (other than what is naturally in food). I'm just adding that as some readers here deal with seizures. GABA, too, has caused me some trouble regarding vertigo and seizures but, again, it seems to help others. My ND says a few people just can't process GABA due to liver enzyme mix-up.
