I got my usual IM methyl B12 from Fallon Welness Pharmacy last week. I went to give myself a shot today and noticed that every syringe was discolored. They looked like a milky pink/red instead of the normal dark red/maroon.
My mom had put the B12 in the crisper instead of where it was normally kept and I am not sure if it will turn back. I know its colder in there and might have froze. I called the pharmacy but wont hear from then until monday.
Is the B12 ruined? I know discoloration is bad but before when I have had B12 expire it gets dark particles floating in it. My glutathione was also in the crisper but appears fine.
Any similar experiences will be helpful.
Thanks, Lindsay

Are you talking about Fallon Wellness in New York? That's where mine come from. They need to stay cold, and from Ny to Fla, I would think that would be difficult the way they are packaged.
I have never had any like you describe.

They usually send them in a cooler, not a problem and the milky color is also normal.

Yes they are shipped from NY and yes they are cold with frozen packs when they arrive. I keep them refrigerated.
WildConder- I have had B12 from this company since November and I have never had this happen. The shots are always a dark red. I was told by my old compounding pharmacy that any discoloratin or cloudiness means that they are bad and need to be discarded.
They are safe to use when they are a different color and consistency? If you can use them like this then how do you tell if they go bad?
Thanks, Lindsay
