My nephew's band teacher had great success with a doctor in California that gave him some sort of oxygen tank treatments...
My daughter has had chronic lyme for 7 years, we're desperate for help.
Any suggestions on treatments that have been successful? We've used Dr. Zhang's Chinese herbs for 5 years...helpful, but still battling.
Thanks!
Nadine [confused]

yes.. initially the first two years were full of antibiotics, as well as a few rounds of prednisone. After two years she still was not showing marked improvement, so I called Dr. Zhang in New York and got on his Chinese Herbs, "Hepapro"... they are wonderful, and hold back the tide, but we still have rounds of very bad spells, as we are experiencing now.
I am interested if anything else has promise.
Thanks for your reply! [Smile]
Nadine.

I have heard that HBOT can be very helpful. It seems like the ones who have the most success with it, do it along with some powerful antibioitcs. I dont think HBOT is a cure, but I've read many people herx and improve with treatement.

DO a search under medical questions "oxygen". Lots of information comes up. The HBOT is expensive. Some have purchased Mild HBOT for home use and others have used an oxygen concentrator. My only concern about that is I have heard babesia loves oxygen...

Sorry your daughter is sufferng. Mine has lyme too. It is so hard to see your child not well.
Best wishes

HBO can help and improve symptoms moving you up a few notches. However, it is not curative and given how expensive it is and that it is not covered by

insurance, I don't believe it's the best bang for your buck. I think there are other approaches where you can use your money more wisely, such as investing in a rife machine vs. HBO.

I've heard a variety of reports, from fantastic results to not enough help. So, like all Lyme treatments, we vary in our responses.

One person told me recently that he signed up for 40 sessions, and it wasn't until into the 30s that he experienced pain decrease.
