I couldn't find where Gigi originally posted this, so I thought I would post it again. Excellent presentation by Dr. K!!!! Thank you Gigi. My husband and I got so much out of this. It really is a must see. (btw - it has so much more to do than just with autism; it was very applicable to us.)

I have HPU. Haven't treated it yet. Treating the methylation cycle and detoxing metals have helped detox tremendously, but I wonder if my methylation cycle will just block up again if I leave HPU unchecked.

I think addressing HPU is important, but I believe you need a competent practicioner as well that is familiar with treating HPU.

The Pfeiffer Treatment Center in IL has been around a long time and treats HPU.

Or you can look through the Klinghardt referral list to find a practicioner closest to you.

I wish I lived near IL, because I think I'd feel most comfortable going to Pfeiffer.

kday - treating HPU is so much more than just about detoxing (although that's a biggie), but it really has to do with the immune system and how the body's production of over 300 enzymes is dependent on zinc. Without the zinc, manganese, etc... the body is forced to disfunction using other metals in place of the zinc (like cadmium, lead, mercury, etc.) When you have a chance..... the video is excellent to see. I can't thank Gigi enough for posting these things.

Thanks so much for the Klinghardt referral list! I have been trying to get my hands on this list. Much appreciated!

Have a beautiful day,
Tammy
