This is the fourth week of my daughter taking tindamax 2x week. The day after her first weekly dose, I have noted a major increase in her "energy" level. She goes and goes, physically and verbally like I have not seen in a looong time. There is almost a euphoric quality to her behavior. There is an increase of ocd and adhd symptoms. Then 3 days after the second dose she crashes and feels achy, tired (exhausted)and very withdrawn and angry.

I know it could be a herx. I just need some hand holding as this is a rocky road. Also, any suggestions or thoughts or similar experiences would be wonderful for me to read.

Thank you. [Smile]

Our daughter took Tindamax for a very short while and it has been put on hold for now.

Anyway, within two days of second dose( took two days a week), she would become very emotional, dizzy and can't remember other symptoms. If I remember correctly; they would last a few days almost until next dose.

The first week was strong and by the third week, the duration of the reaction would last only about a day.

Then this med was put on hold.

So sorry you DD is struggling with this disease. I hope she gets relief soon. It is so difficult to watch our children suffer.

Hang in there [Smile]
