Great info! I tested positive for this, among many things, and didn't really understand what all it effected. This explains quite a bit for me.

You mean 5 days of a Z-pack doesn't get rid of this?
That's what they gave me when I was throwing up blood 18 years ago. Went to the ER and they found walking pneumonia. I have since discovered this is what they call mycoplasma pneumonia.

I think if they catch it early and a person has a healthy immune system, it does go away with just a few weeks of treatment.
In our case though, we have been addressing this for months. Treatment is working but oh so slooooooooooooowly.
We were surprised to find out everyone in my family is testing positive for it. It's very common but for those of us with other issues, it can become very hard to shake. Especially when we are all re-exposing each other.
