So I just got some lab results. Don't have my appt with the LLMD until May but I have an app on my phone that sends me the results.

I will be posting the abnormal ones to get some feedback.

Here goes:

M. Pneumoniae AB IGG >5 H

Vitamin D, 25 OH Total 28 L

herpesvirus 6 1:160 H ....interpretation says past infection

C. Albicans IGA 1.0 H

Thoughts?

Ask your doctor to be sure, but I'd suspect the M. Pneumoniae IgG is due to past infection...

Vit. D is low - suggests you need to supplement. If you are already supplementing, you may need more and/or to make sure you are getting Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) instead of Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) because the D3 is better absorbed and used by the body than the D2.

Herpesvirus 6 - go with the interp on that one...

Candida - not surprising. Are you allergic to yeast (baker's, brewer's, nutritional)? If yes, then this is also possibly a cross-reaction...so best to discuss with the doctor. And make sure you are taking probiotics...

The obligatory disclaimer: The above is my own opinion, and I am not a doctor. Please discuss all test results with your physician.

Take care,

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I was missing in looking at it. Everything else concerning lyme and cos has been a bit confusing for me, I'm now over thinking the obvious.

Not allergic to anything that I know of.

Philly~ Here's some info on HHV-6: http://www.hhv-6foundation.org/ My titers were higher than yours....1:640 (then 1:320). I was put on valcyte and did see some improvements. One person with your titers got well on valcyte (read on the patient forums). So, I would not completely ignore those test results.

You also might want to consider getting tested for enteroviruses at ARUP lab: http://chronicfatigue.stanford.edu/infections/entero.html

Since your Mycoplasma test is high, you might want to get retested at Focus lab. http://www.focusdx.com/focus/1-reference_laboratory/search_frame.asp?searchOptionScope=2&S1=1&S2=1&test=&sp=40735&Keyword=mycoplasma%20pneumonia#an_40735

Best, Timaca
