After nearly two years of treatment with abx and herbs, the remaining issue for me is headaches/presure all around my scalp, ear fullness, tinnitus. These symptoms flare up every month and last for about 10 days. I am getting better every month, but it seems to be persistent and slow. Has anyone finally gotten rid of all head issues? what did you do to accomplish that?
I am currently on mino and Dr. Zhang's protocol. Is it wise to stop abx now without fully clearing the head issues?
------- lyme, bartonella, Erhlirchia, maybe barbesia, Dr. Fry protozoa

why is it that those of us who have head issues all stay stuck with this?!! No matter what treatment we take... Does it ever resolve? I'd really like to know the answer...

I don't know Shahbah, and no one here has the correct answers. The head issues I've had since 2007 and is BS if you ask me.

I have tested negative for barbesia. Dr Zhang still put me on his artimisinan for a few months. I have taken Levaquin, rifampin and Bactrim DS for bart, seem to have cleared that.
Neither Dr. Zhang or Dr. R in NYC gave me a good answer for the head issues... So the doctors don't really know.

Shahbah - Have you been tested for XMRV? I have tested positive. Of course, the theory goes that it causes massive oxidative stress (which causes nuero symptoms) and is synergistic w/ Lyme.

thehause, i have not tested for XMRV but I am convinced this is only a cash cow, i still have never heard of someone who got cured from our sx with XMRV treatment... It's treated I think with the same drugs as AIDS and I am sick enough from abx so i don't intend to get that poison too with no results...

I'd say its too early for them to know it doesn't work and they're only in it for profit - but I understand not wanting to try unknown therapy.
