This is new to me. My original symptom was a fluttering type feeling along with anxiety waking me early morning. It feels muscular but I'm unsure at this oint and it's been persistant for a few weeks now.

My initial Lyme symptoms began with left shoulder/chest pain that radiated down my left arm
The pain was a 10 on the pain scale.
I also had a clonic twitch to my left arm and the pain would radiate under my left breast.
Diagnosis?
Lyme neuritis. The pain under the breast plagues me to this day and it has been 3 years since diagnosis.
It took it a long time to settle down with the use of antibiotics but it did eventually pass.
I am getting over a flare of neuritis from a second tick bite five weeks ago.
I am taking Cipro and Neurotin (gabapentin) at the moment for the symptoms along with niacin, flax oil, and omega 3 oils.
I am also exercising, riding my road bike 11 miles every other day no matter how crappy I feel.
It seems to be helping.
I also had the weird fluttery feeling you described in my muscles during my initial infection.
Hang in there, it will get better and pass.

Thanks. I just kicked up treatment again 2 months ago and have recently added Rifampin and tindamax pulse to zith so maybe some bugs are coming out. It's not bad I can deal with it.

the fluttering in your chest may be palpitations. i get those often, especially when i am tired.

They're not actual palpitations. When I check my pulse it is strong and steady. Feels more muscular actually.

I commonly get a burning sensation on my left shoulder. It comes & goes and kind of feels like a sunburn. There's a medical term for it which I can't recall at the moment. My LLMD says this is normal for Lyme patients.
