My pre-teen daughter finished a 3 week round of anti-biotics and within a few days, developed very sore finger tips. Not the joints, just the tips. That went about a week. About 8 days of being off antibiotics, I noticed she was bruised under one thumb nail. The bruise darkened and another developed on a 2nd finger and within two more days, on the other thumb. No more pain in the fingertips, other than the three that are bruised, but I have no idea why they might be bruising? Three different fingers, not adjacent to one another and two differnet hands. Doctor says it's a fluke. Has any one else experienced this with Lyme or coming off anti-biotics for Lyme?

I am sorry your daughter has lyme. Was this caught at the bite or has she been sick a while?
Are the sore and then bruised fingertips her only remaining symptom or does she have others?
Does the doctor she is seeing still have her in treatment for Lyme or are they blaming her symptoms on something else?
After my son had 3 weeks of antibiotics our family doctor put him on prednisone for the selling in his joints... which made have him neurological problems. Don't take the word of non lyme literate doctors (LDMD) when it comes to lyme.
That being said, my son and I both had strange bruising last year. I have had lyme for at least 17 years... I just didn't know it because I was misdiagnosed with "chronic reactive arthritis"
My son just hoyt really sick last year... I am pretty sure he was born with lyme.
The bruising started last year. We were living in a moldy house. Might be something to look into.
The Lyme is still very likely still an infection. It persists. My son still has lyme over a year later. Things like mold complicate the recovery from mold.

Toxic mold was suppressing our immune systems, causing extreme pain, brain fog and magnifying symptoms. Four days after moving out, the healing began. Posts: 2007 | From NY/VT Border | Registered: Aug 2010
